The Yellowstone Trail Alliance is planning it’s 2021 event across Western Minnesota for September 11, 2021 from 10 AM to 8 PM from Ortonville to Buffalo Lake. If your organization, car club, or city has events to include please contact us and we will list them on our social media pages, website and promote them. Register online before August 31 to reserve your dash plaque in the mail or stop on the day of the event at Hector – Hill’s Unique Gifts, Highway 212, Granite Falls – The Andrew Volstead House, 163 9th Ave – Ortonville, Big Stone County Museum,987 US Highway 212.

The 2021 event includes these historic and cultural events as well as shops and restaurants along the route . Your registration makes your car eligible for the Car Show with prizes at 6 PM in Granite Falls. Any type of vehicle can participate in the Sociability Run!

-Swenson Farm Museum, Horse Power Event , This popular event celebrates farming in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and focuses only on horse drawn equipment. -Montevideo Welcome America Event, 10-2 Smith Park Welcomingweek.org Our local day of celebration in Montevideo will be September 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Smith Park near the area known as the “bear cage”. We will have a DJ, a pinata and a soul food vendor, Moore Good Eats. Join us in creating tiles representative of the various cultures in our community to be used to create a public art installation.
